My name is Matt. I am a 20 year old college student from New England with a love for Italian food and the Italian culture.

Many friends and family consistently call me a fake Italian. Ironically, both my parents come from Italian blood lines; I just do not eat a wide variety of foods as many Italians do. My diet consists of various types of seafood, chicken, pasta of course, and other notorious Italian dishes. Typically, my friends and family look at me as an ass because I like to joke around and break balls wherever I go. Given that information, I would like to forewarn you that my personality will be presented throughout this blog. Don’t worry, it isn’t bad. I bet you’ll laugh a couple two or three times, but you won’t be upset or aggravated by anything. This is food, not politics or religion. I hope the readers of this blog end up trying some of the places I talk about because all of these little family owned places are amazing. Support your local restaurants because they make some bomb ass food. Some of the best meals I have ever eaten have been from family owned restaurants and markets. I bet you that hole-in-the-wall place or shack is better than the mainstream, bullshit chain business you can go to down the street. Finally as you read on in my blog, I hope you can enjoy and savor the food I try as I gather content for all of you.
