So here we are again back at Alta Strada at Foxwoods. I had to get a picture of the bread and olive oil they serve here that they make in house. For any of you out there that know, green olive oil is pure and it has a very strong taste. Some may hate this taste, but I absolutely love it. Between the olive oil that is made there and the bread, it is a perfect side for any pasta dish that comes without any charge. Obviously, get an appetizer here because this place is amazing. You do not have to worry about saving the bread or oil as they constantly bring out more and more throughout the night. The best is when you eat the bread right when it is served because it is still nice and warm from the oven when they first bring it out.
Now you are probably wondering why I am making a separate post about some fancy Italian place’s bread and oil. Yes I am because not many places truly make their own bread and oil. Especially make pure olive oil and serve it limitlessly. Honestly, trying this olive oil is sort of an experience in itself because I never had it before and it has such a unique taste. I usually go for a lot of oil on my bread when I go out, but a little dab will do you well when it comes to this stuff. It is such a strong taste and flavor that it makes your mouth salivate after you try it. Also, the stuff really does smell amazing, so it made me want to try it even more. Lastly, I really do believe Alta Strada is a must try for everyone that goes to the casino because it truly is such a good restaurant.
